Pretty standard stuff, I thought. It also states that proper netiquette
can be defined by the list owner, so you may also want to look here:

I will quote from Mike's guidelines:
"As long as the topic is ColdFusion-related, and your TOPIC clearly
defined in your SUBJECT line, it is acceptable"
The person did respond to a thread with a new topic, unrelated to the
original thread, and he quoted the original message. Creating a new
message would have been much more appropriate. I would expect any
programmer, doing web development, to have the basic understandings of how
to use e-mail and e-discussion lists.

Although, perhaps snide, I did point the original poster to the CF-JOBs
