Sorry for the way off topic post... but I'm not currently a member of a lot of lists, and this one has a few smart people who've done a lot of varied stuff. We've got a bit of a weird one here. We're using Access to connect to a SQL database (an Access VB app), and it completely gives up the ghost if the ODBC connection is interrupted temporarily.
