Can anyone who knows more about servers than I do help me isolate whats the problem here .... We've suddenly started having problems with the server needing to be rebooted daily - it's out of memory. After months of being rock-solid, and being rebooted once a month just for the fun of it, suddenly we have this problem. I know the answer lies in which file/application was added to the site about that time, but we have a dozen people all working on the site and it's difficult to pin down the exact culprit, specially since our network/hardware specialist is away on vacation. Our logs show plenty of entries similar to the following entry: [quote] "Warning","TID=178","03/18/01","03:00:56","A request exceeded the timeout. The unresponsive thread count is up to 1. [C:\CFUSION\Scripts\cfexectask.cfm]" [endquote] What causes this? What should we look for? Cheers, Mike Kear Windsor, NSW, Australia AFP Webworks.
