Re. image sizes
Thats a fair point Kay - we only use it for gifs. Think I'll try your tag
out for jpgs.
Are you sure CFX_Image came after CFX_GIFGD?

CFX tags have to be mapped in the administrator. They don't have a specific
directory.

Bill,
We were also using a tag by Jukka Manner, CFX_Image, which I believe is the
successor to CFX_GIFGD. The problem we found was that the JPG quality was
quite bad, and in correspondence with Jukka he said that the tag was
optimised for GIFs and increased JPG quality would increase the running time
of the tag unacceptably. So for our own clients we were forced to write our
own.
Kay.

Dear Robert (net_man)
If you want to advertise your company on the list, you should disclose your
association and any financial relationship you have in making your
recommendation. I for one am tired of the constant push of atsweb on this
list. It is unfair and disrespectful to the hundreds of other web hosting
companies on this list. I also applaud the hundreds of other folks on this
list who show some restraint and don't post their company's name on the list
every time someone asks for a hosting recommendation. It is too bad you
can't use the same restraint.
As a general courtesy, you should take the time to email the person directly
with your suggestion rather than spamming the list. There is no need to keep
bombarding the list with your recommendation for a startup webhosting
company with almost no track record, incomplete services, and using a shared
data service from a small utility company in Georgia.
There is one thing to recommend a company because you are customer, it is an
entirely different matter to be an employee or somehow have a financial
stake in a company that you are constantly pushing.
I wish you the best of luck in your startup, but there is no need to be
posting blatant and repetitive advertising to this list. We get it. You are
involved in a new company. But how about lets post some info on here that is
a technical nature about Cold Fusion and not spam advertising for a new
webhosting company.

Checkout www.atswebnet.com Control Panel is almost done, but you can resell
accounts for as low as $4.95/month/each domain if you buy the right package.
Check it out...
