Check out www.cfcomet.com
has good examples of creating/connecting to word, excel, access, outlook,
etc. This should help you get started.
Also, using OLEview program will come in handy, nice to know the properties,
methods, etc. of the objects you would like to work with. It comes with
Visual Studio, but I think it can be downloaded from the MS site as well.
Not sure where though.
