I just felt that I should add a little note to this. CF doesn't necessarily
need administrative rights to use CFREGISTRY, it just needs permissions to
read and/or edit the registry keys that you want and need to touch. You can
set registry permissions for individual keys using REGEDT32.EXE. CF will
obviously need read/write permissions to the ColdFusion key; it'll also need
read/write permissions for the ODBC.INI key. There may be others that it
needs to look at; you can audit keys to see which are touched by CF.
