Verity would be great for you.
does your info must be updated on-the-fly?
if not, you can purge and re-index daily (That's what I do).
If yes, just use action=update and action=optimize from time
to time (about 3 times a day).
Anyhow, verity can index both QUERY driven data and regular
files..... it's absolutly great!!!! one of the strongest features that
are included with CF.
