sorry, didn't understand what you mean by chatter?
the applet? the moderator?

"considered" response?

not necessarily, it's actually a bunch of people (from cf-talk/community)
that's are an EXPERT (aren't we all) on CF.
you'll hear multiple answers and wide range of opinions..
from newbies to profs.

The chat transcripts can be archived but I think it's useless.
instead of searching throught archives (does people actually do it)
you can ask again. lots of answers will come along in no time.
why waste time and search for outdated info?

You'll have the option to open room or join an opened room about
a certain discussion - let's say: Verity. but mostly, I see it as open
chat, where people keep the chat window on minimize, then
ask a question (after opening the window), join the discussion (if they
want to) and log off. how many simulatinous threads are you getting
on cf-talk? 1 or 2, maybe 3 - the rest are answers and answers on the
same subject.

all topics are discussed, every time. you might get lucky and have
your q answered in 1 second or u'll have to come back later.
just keep the applet loaded in u'r taskbar and jump in and out.

Not really, but it's something new to try out...
I think it can be useful to lots of people, the problem is no one
tried it. just "taking a look" and leaving..

I think we can at least try...
