I belive by aliasing the table names on the join.
What I have is a table, that I would like to sum the totalyrs from three chosen
skills, and to count the total number of skill - both related to the same candidate.
Can be done - but I can not get my mind to hold this slippery fish long enough to get
the ah ha!

How can you do a join on the same table? Both of these queries are drawn from the
CandidateSkills table? Am I misunderstanding your question?
