Hey thanks for your response.
I am upgrading a server, with code that I have not written myself, so I'm
not at liberty to change it.
But on expecting the code, I noticed that none of the application variables
are locked down, and when they are referenced the scope name is not used.
Do you think this would effect the upgrade?

Thanks
Ali Awan

I just upgraded from 4.01 to 4.5SP2 this last weekend. Everything ran
smoothly except, I had some performance issues at first. After some small
recoding to take advantage of CFLOCK and some Administrator tweaking, I was
up and running faster and with the 4.5 extra features.

Hey, I have an application written in and running on Cold Fusion 4.0, and I
want to upgrade the server to 4.5.
I was wondering if anyone has run into any problems in doing this. Also, if

anyone knows obvious pitfalls and issues that come up when
upgrading/migrating from 4.0 to 4.5.

Any information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ali Awan
