I have a MySQL server running on a FreeBSD box, serving up a simple DB w/one table. I am trying to get my Wintel box running W2K and CF Server to see the DB on the MySQL Server. For good measure, my copy of CF Studio is also on the W2K server (development environment). I have installed MyODBC on the W2K machine and set up a User DSN and System DSN for the MySQL DB to the best of my knowledge. The Connection shows up in CF Admin, but will not Verify. Also, I'm not entirely sure how to set up a connection to a remote RDS server through Studio. I'm an MySQL newbie, novice with CF (but steadily learning more each day). Are there some settings that I have missed? Any help would be better than where I am now. Thanks in advance.
