If you have Character Map listed in your accessories (windows -
start/programs/accessories/); 

start it up, 
change Font to Wingdings,
select a wingding you are looking for from the listing that displays,
in the bottom right corner of the applet it shows the keystrokes for the
character you click on which includes the char # you need to use when you do
chr().

Using CF_HTMLMenu and was looking for a good reference on the ASCII
translation of the WingDing character set. Those I've found on the web don't
