Annapolis Area ColdFusion Group Meeting May 24th, 2001 6:30 PM We are happy to announce a local CF group for programmers in Annapolis, Columbia and the Eastern Shore. The Annapolis ColdFusion Users Group (http://www.ancfug.com/) meets the forth Thursday from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. Located next to the Navy stadium at the MD Department of Natural Resources, our meetings consist of local users and national experts discussing programming techniques you can use in your everyday coding. Our topics this month are: Charlie Arehart - of Systemanage, will be presenting "Hidden Gems for CF Developers". In this presentation, veteran CF developer, trainer, columnist, and CFUG speaker Charlie Arehart will present dozens of tips, tricks, and traps that befall (or can benefit) the CF developer ranging from coding challenges, to database issues, to Studio techniques. He promises that these are not tired, rehashed classics but instead real gems that even experienced developers probably have not seen before and will be impressed (or distressed) by. MySQL Integration with ColdFusion - MySQL, the most popular Open Source SQL database is often the choice for web developers because of it ease of use and cross-platform compatibility (plus its free!).
