OK I know this thread has been flogged to death as to which of the 2
performs better cfloop or cfoutput when dealing with queries but as far as I
knew no-one had come to a defenite conclusion. Thought it was worth
mentioning that in the new book "Certified ColdFusion Developer Study Guide"
(one of whose authors is Ben Forta himself) there is a sample question
asking whether the 2 are logically thew same. The answer in the book is
that they are but cfloop will perform better.

So are we to take it that this is the definitive answer?!
