Has anyone developed (in CF or otherwise) a random phrase or sentence
generator?
I'm building one at the moment just for a laugh, but I think it needs the
addition of grammatical rules for the phrases to a) make more sense and b)
be less clunky.
By grammatical rules I mean:
structure of a sentence
average balance between nouns/verbs/adjectives as used by an English
language (local dialects nonwithstanding!) within a typical sentence.
etc. etc.
I have already written a lot of it but I was also wondering how others have
gone about it and what CF data structures/architectures they used. It has a
large vocabulary divided up into word types (see above) and weightings based
on frequency of usage.
