What about:
INSERT INTO table1 (col1, col2, col3... )
SELECT col1, col2, col3....
FROM table2

Subject: Duplicating database row
Howdy all. Is there an easy way to duplicate a row in a database
rather than querying for a record then doing an insert of a new
record with identical data? Something that will work in both Access
and SQL Server would be great.
Thanks,
