Microsoft Access has the ability to import or link to Outlook as a
datasource. So you could have a DB that references the data in an Outlook
mailbox without moving the actual messages to the DB.  Try file -> Get
External Data -> Link Tables.  Under datasources, choose outlook.  Pick the
profile and folder that you want to link to.

I'm sure that there are other means to access the data, I've just found this
to be the easiest...
