Generate a confirmation number and shove all the completed form items into a
database ... when they come back lookup their "account" via the confirmation
number and allow them to resume where they left off. You could also set a
cookie with a variable containing the last form they completed, etc.

Subject: Forms: Save and Continue

Hi all,
I was wondering if you could give me an idea on how to save and continue in
the process of completing a form. For example, say you have 5 forms. A
submit button takes you to the next form. However, if they are lengthy forms
you might want to save after completing the 2nd form (and receive some type
of confirmation #) and then continue exactly where you left off at another
time.

Is this even possible in Cold Fusion?

Thank you for your help!

Brian
