I think also by adjusting your template cache (making sure its on in the
first place), you can also minimize the impact multiple file reads will have
on your hard-drive reading performance. Make sure you adjust your template
cache size to equal the total size of all the templates in your site that
are used often or grouped together + probably an extra meg for comfort.
