Very easy, just save the custom tag in the same folder as the template that
calls it. CF checks here first, it then checks the CustomTags folder if the
custom tag is not found. Its not as efficient due to the fact that if the
same customtag is used more than once in different places it must be placed
in each separate calling folder.

host will not install or support any custom tags period. Add to
that, that my organization is practically married to our host and
won't change hosting.
So...is there a way to implement a custom tag without it having
