Hello <cf_friends>,
I have a problem. I am trying to configure the mappings for a
development server, but I can't seem to get it right. Here is what I have:
1.) the cf server (5.0) is located on my machine but is not using the
127.0.0.1 local ip address. It has its own ip address.
2.) my cf studio (4.5.2) is on my c:\ drive in the standard path.
3.) all of the cf files that I want to view/develop are stored on another
server in our network (not on my pc which has both studio and server
located) i.e. in my network neighborhood.
I've gone through the help files that are in studio which are actually
pretty good, but it doesn't seem to address this scenario. I could be wrong
about that but my head is spinning so fast I'm beginning to look like the
mcp cone in tron.
What I want to be able to do is to do all of my development locally so I
don't have to keep testing on the production server (bad, bad, bad) but I
need to map the browse settings properly in studio so that it looks in the
right place.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Help me Obi-Wan-Kenobi...you're
my only hope.
