I am trying to take the results of an SQL query and allow the user to save
the query results to their PC in excel format (or any other format
readable by excel). I have tried several custom tags in the allaire
tag gallery (All_excel, cf_excel v1.2, cf_query2excel) but have yet
to get one to work, the last custom tag hung the development server
twice. Is their an easy way for the user to click a "download" link
and get a pop-up box that asks them to "save as", then they can
choose their local PC as the save location. All the ways I can think
require a file to physically sit on the web server which we can not
allow due to sensitive data within the files.
