You know how old SP 6 is? Of course it doesn't protect you. And 
protecting from a DoS attack is much more than just running all the 
patches, it also involves correct setup and active monitoring of the 
server and all upstream equipment.
A complete list of patches can be found at the MS site, but if I look at 
the 2 links below I would guess that you require up to an additional 30 
patches or so. See the list for what *we* currently run for *our* setup.
