Well I know that the Secret Service have immense power. When Clinton
came
here to Sydney they barged in like schoolyard bullies and demanded
that
businesses close all along the route he might possibly be coming
along . A
few business closed their doors, and got no compensation for their
lost day
of business, but some others told them to take their hearing aids and
dark
glasses and piss off. They have no right to go pushing Australians
around
like they're poor US citizens.
As far as I'm aware, the Secret Service has no power to take any
action
against British citizens (did you see his email address?) They're
bullies,
but not that bad.
Interesting how the country that trumpets free speech to the world and
demands the rest of the world does the same is the one that gets
offended at
someone saying what they think.
However I agree that what John said was pretty well over the top and
ill-advised and had no place on this list. (If you're going to
flame me do
it to my address not the list please )
