I disagree with every word that you said, but please don't remove
yourself.
There are a lot of great things about America. In my opinion, the
best part
about this beautiful country are the people that reside in it. The
people
of this great nation have always risen to the challenges of the
world, be it
through taking up arms against ones enemies or giving money and food
to
people who need it most. I'm not talking about the government now.
I'm
talking about the men and women of this nation who give of their
time, money
and sometimes their lives to help others (including all on this list)
voluntarily. We are a generous and forgiving people and do not wish
to hold
grudges. Your apology for bringing up this topic on this discusssion
group
is forgiven, at least, by me. However, you should not apologise for
your
views. I don't apologise for mine. Just put them in the proper
context and
in the proper arena.
