No, the tag is completely stand alone and does not require any server-side
components. I think it's simple to implement, but then I was involved in its
development :) It's a single file that you need to put on the server and
register in the CF Administrator.

cfx_pwcardrypt uses the standard RSA algorithm, and can
create/encrypt/decrypt 512, 1024 and 2048 bit keys. In theory, if there was
a tool on *nix to decrypt standard RSA and you used the same key pair, it
would work, although I haven't tried it myself. Does anyone know of such a
beast? I'd be really interested to know if there was. And Megan, it may help
if you specify which flavour of *nix you need to use.
