One of my clients needs a website that is based on a generic process framework model. Does anyone have experience building such a site with Coldfusion? I know that Coldfusion is not an object orientated language, but what methods can one use to make a site more dynamic - rather than using conditional statements the whole time? An more interesting question would maybe be: to what extend can one make coldfusion object orientated? I would like to steer clear from JAVA if possible, and use ColdFusion as it is my preferred language of choice. (Say for instance that I have a contact form, but that contact form must be available in 5 languages...) One could make a few trips to a database, but then it won't be adhering to a generic process framework model, will it? I would appreciate some feedback.
