But, I'm thinking it would be a good idea if one of your technical people
also frequented the list to help out with the tech issues. At least
contacting the person in question offline, and determining if it's a
billable issue, or something resolved in online documents.

If it's technical, you want to call the tech support people. If do that and
they can't help you and no one here can
help you, then I would try to find out why it isn't installing and get
someone to write a tech note or a FAQ or add
it to the list of things that are on the list to fix or even push for a
program that you could participate in to
create installation help somehow.
I am a little different than the regular tech resources, I am here for
issues that are more with the company or the
design or the philosophy of the app.
