CF is logged in as the user which is running the service.
Check the service properties to view this information.

Does anyone know for certain what security context cfregistry run as (in CF
4.0)? I thought it's running as the anonymous user setup for IIS but when I
set a few registry keys to deny access from anyone but administrator and
system groups I was still able to read the key - all sign points to the fact
CF is accessing the registry as localsystem.......
Does CF do the same thing in 4.5, what about 5.0?
I feel like crying now...
