Let me state this clearly...

That review is a load of crap!

JRun is the core of a huge amount of business at Macromedia. For instance it is the 
core of Sitespring. It is also
like the third or fourth most popular JSP server in numbers shipped. It is not going 
anywhere for a while.

There are going to be interesting connections between CF and JRun in the future, but 
that is a long ways off AFIK.
