I've had this happen on a Microsoft SBS 2000 server, with ISA configured
as a firewall/proxy. Something to do with over-zealous settings not
allowing cookies to be set. Although the machine was an internal dev
machine, it had an IP and subdomain attached to it, I was able to get
around the problem by calling
http://subdomain.domain.com/cfide/administrator instead of
http://machinename/cfide/administrator. If I were you I'd look at any
firewall or proxying software that you have installed on your network.
Good luck!
