We had a funny thing happen a week or so ago - between 1255 pm and 1:01 pm, we got hit with 24,000 undeliverable/spooling emails. We checked the CF Admin Mail settings and found that CF couldn't connect to the mail server. We heard of another user with EXACTLY THE SAME THING 24 hours earlier. Is there something going on with the mail server? This can't be a coincidence. I realize that our experiences are a bit different, but we were wondering about a virus ourselves. JoAnn A. Yes Thanks for your suggestion - I checked that out by using the webmail option and looking at my mailbox using the browser. There were definitely 10 of these messages there waiting. I watched for a while, and checked again, not doing anything but hit "check mail" and there was still 10 messages there. After 15 minutes, still 10 messages there. So I deleted them, and got zero messages waiting. Then checked again after a minute or so and lo! 10 messages again. I'm starting to think that I can't have this problem caused by outlook, because I'm not using outlook for this - just a web browser. Could it be that the mail server has a virus of somekind? IN which case I have to wonder why just this mailbox and not any other mailbox on the same mail server? This is a puzzle for me.
