What stress tool? Heavy database load? What functionality? What
platform? Any advanced functionality (like CFObject, CFFTP, etc)
I think that 4.5 could be a little faster due to the additional services
5 must run (Generator, Jrun). Whatever minimal advantage 4.5 may have
is easily negated by 5's improvements.
- query of a query : cut query time down
- UDF's - can replace time-intensive custom tags in many instances
- CFFTP actually works
- any scaling benefits?
- any stability benefits?

Subject: RE: CF 4.5 and CF 5 comparison
it was run on the same machine with the exact same stress test program
and settings.
i ran the test with 4.5 then installed 5 then ran the test again. then
i retested on 5 then reinstalled 4.5 and got similar results. 4.5 won
by a smidgen in both cases.

Aside from CFAS, were all other things equal on both servers (processor,
RAM, users hitting the box, etc)?
