I have a real doosy of an issue....
I have to write a page that is printable with a table of contents. I have
a file that is written as a word document, where the user has to generate
the TOC by clicking a link that opens the file in word, the user clicks
"insert"==>"Indexes and Tables"==>"Table of Contents"==>and finally "OK"
.....and then the TOC is built and printable from word.
However because of security (mainly) and some user-laziness they want to be
able to open the file I create and print it strait from the browser with a TOC.

The file I create has simple values in it that look similar to this:

<CFOUTPUT QUERY="getEmployees">
<table>
<tr><td align="left" nowrap><b>Employee Name:</b></td><td align="left"><a
name="#ph_num#"></a>#FIRST_NAME# #LAST_NAME#&nbsp;</td><td
align="right"><b>Proposed Merit ##:</b></td><td
align="left">#MERIT#&nbsp;</td></tr>
<tr><td align="left"><b>Current Title:</b></td><td
align="left">#TITLE#&nbsp;</td><td align="right"><b>Proposed Bonus
##:</b></td><td align="left">#Bonus#&nbsp;</td></tr>
<tr><td align="left"><b>Supervisor:</b></td><td align="left">#SFIRST_NAME#
#SLAST_NAME#&nbsp;</td><td align="right"><b>Promotion(Y/N):</b></td><td
align="left">#PROMO#&nbsp;</td></tr>
<tr><td align="left"><b>Hire Date:</b></td><td colspan=3
align="left">#Hire_Date#&nbsp;</td></tr>
<tr><td align="left"><b>BS/BA, Yr:</b></td><td colspan=3
align="left">#COLLEGE#&nbsp;</td></tr>
<tr><td align="left"><b>Highest Degree Yr.:</b></td><td colspan=3
align="left">#COLLEGE#&nbsp;</td></tr>
<tr valign="top"><td align="left"><b>Merit:</b></td><td colspan=3
align="left">#MJUSTIFY#&nbsp;</td></tr>
<tr><td colspan=4><hr></td></tr>
<tr valign="top"><td align="left"><b>Bonus Justification:</b></td><td
colspan=3 align="left">#BJUSTIFY#&nbsp;</td></tr>
<tr><td colspan=4><hr></td></tr>
<tr valign="top"><td align="left"><b>Promotion Justification:</b></td><td
colspan=3 align="left">#PJUSTIFY#&nbsp;</td></tr>
</table>
</cfoutput>

Am I going to have to count lines???? *Yuk*
Never mind security for now.....Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
