First of all you do not know what I am doing on the backend, and every
page is set to expire. Like I said the only difference is the browser,
so if you are right then why does it work on one server running 4.5 and
not another running 5.0!!
Again I will say it is a combination of IE5.0+ and CF5.0/CF4.5 and yes I
just tried another machine running IE5.0 and it does the same thing.
Now I checked the backend workings; which is logging information and the
CF code is being executed like I said it was.

Subject: Re: Problem with Forms & IE 6?
Can somebody please tell me that what I am trying to explain to Andrew
is
correct or wrong?
Thank you

You are wrong!!
If you don't know the answer; then don't bother replying, it works under
CF4.5 on the live server. But under my development server which is
running CF5.0 it doesn't.
Go to www.ozgames.com.au, click on more under membership and see what I
mean it works. Miss a field and see what I mean!
Now if your argument is right then it would not work with Netscape but
it does on the dev server, which makes your argument stale!

That may just be the IE 6 bug. My point was that no CF tags are invoked
if
you simply use the regular Back button. Is that clear?

Wrong! It works under CF4.5 with IE6.0, but will not work under CF5.0
and IE6.0 and if that was true why does it work under Netscape6.1?

First of all I have only tried this with the beta of IE6.0, but I have
found a problem that either someone else has seen or maybe even fixed.
Scenario:
I have a page that contains a form and has something like this....
<cfparam name="Form.Name" default="">
<input type="Text" Name="Name" value="#Form.Name#">
The idea is that when the user hits the back buttton, the form is pre
filled again. Now this worked in IE4.0 and it works in Netscape 6.1. Yet
under IE6.0 it seems to be filled blank, does anyone have a clue as to
how or if this can be resolved.
