Well the system log has 3 or more errors all from the "Service Control
Manager" after the reboot, one of them detailing "The World Wide Web
Publishing Service service hung on starting." The URL below was predictably
unhelpful, so I'm downloading the `code red` patch from Microsoft to see if
that helps.
