I haven't noticed anyone else mentioning this, but just in case
someone else runs into it.
We use cfexecute in one of our apps to run a command and send its output to
a file for processing by CF. While testing this app under CF 5, we noticed
it didn't work.
Further investigation revealed that the application's standard error output,
which in CF 4.5.2 had been going to the server log file, is now being
returned intermingled with the application's standard output.
It really is a shame that :
a. This change in behavior wasn't documented, and
b. An attribute for the error output to be redirected to a seperate file isn't
provided.
