It looks like the errors that are generated on the 4.0x version after
applying the recent security patch. If that's the case, there's a corrected
version of the ascf.dll available that will correct the problem. You can
find it here:

Subject: Weird Scheduler Error
Hi,
I have suddenly started getting a scheduler error on a scheduled template
that had been working fine for months. I am stumped as to what the problem
could be since the template runs fine in the browser and doesn't generate an
application error. Here are the log entries from the Scheduler and the cf
webserver log.
Scheduler Log:
"Information","TID=409","08/30/01","09:30:00","Scheduled action
MoreoverNews, template default submission initiated."
"Information","TID=409","08/30/01","09:30:00","Unexpected error for schedule
action MoreoverNews, template default"\
CF Webserver Log:
"Error","TID=409","08/30/01","09:30:00","Exception occurred while reading
environment parameters from standard input. <P>Windows NT error number 183
occurred."
As you can guess from the Name of the Scheduled action the template queries
the MoreOver news feed and generates some files that can be called from a
template. As I said It works fine in the browser, had worked fine for
months as a scheduled event and now, without changing the template, is
broken. Obviously something has changed but I am not sure what. Any insight
would be appreciated.
Best regards,
