That's happened to me before. Frustrating. You can always just type the
path to your database.
I think it might be a firewall or browser security. Either that or the
CF java components did not install correctly.
What browser version are you using?

I am trying to create a DSN for an access database. however, when I went

select the file on the server the applet opens up with a Server Error

says IO error on server communication. What does this mean and how do I
