We sell encryption tags that use RSA
(http://www.developer.perthweb.com.au). Much, much cheaper than PGP,
with the same key strength. The only drawback to using any asymmetric
encryption scheme is that the private key cannot be stored securely on
the server - so for decrypting the information, a human needs to be
present. Contact me offlist if you'd like to know how we have been
managing this for our clients.
