I don't trust CreateODBC date in the slightest....are you using SQL? if so I would use a daterange using a charachter string in the format 'dd/mm/yyyy' to capture all dates between to consecutive dates (hence one day) All you need to do in addition to this is before executing your SQL statement ensure you include the line of code SET DATEFORMAT DMY
