Here's whats wrong.
When using something as opensource software, digging hard sometimes to
find the answer to the problem understandably
comes with the territory.

 Enter propriety software.
One of the biggest perceived advantages of this is the "support", namely
the company's knowledge base.

And I hate to bring microsoft's site back into the picture, but I think
their knowledge base is the best bar none. I wish
macromedia could do some "modeling" after their knowledge base.

Their software has lots of bugs, but I bet any problem I come across, I can
go to the knowledge base,
type in the error or whatever happens
and in a jiffy I'll have the article with the detail work-around or update
available. This ability alone, makes a lot
of their software highly valuable to me as a user.

When coming across a problem in ColdFusion, I have *rarely* ever found the
answer to my problem on Macromedia/Allaire knowledge base.

 Here is
specifically the latest.
Running ColdFusion Server 5 and am getting tons of errors like this in my
logs

!! CFTrace::logThread(1084) has no entry for thread 1084

Use that as an example, and type in variations of those keywords and try to
find the answer.
If you have better luck than me, please send me the article #
