Matt,

I'm not sure if you got the answer you needed.

If you already have DNS setup correctly all you need to do now is create the
virtual domain in IIS

1. Create a new website in IIS as you normally would

2. Right click the new website and go to properties

3. On the website tab, in the website identification section click the
ADVANCED button

4. You should now be at a window titled Advanced Multiple Web Site
Configuration

5. Click Add

6. Choose the IP from the drop down list

7. Enter the port number (usually 80)

8. Enter your complete subdomain name (i.e. web2.veloxweb.com)

9. Click OK

If your DNS is setup correctly, you should be able to open a browser and
call up your new subdomain.

I'm not much of a writer so if you still need help, hit me up - off list at

Subject: Re: *RESOLVED* - RE: Subdomain of a domain

Not me, I'm not smart enough ;D. I do my own dns and can set up a subdomain
easily on that side. However it looks to me like the entry in IIS is in one
of two places. Came up empty looking thru the MS KB, although I'm sure its
in there I just couldn't find it. A quickee example would be much
appreciated if someone could take a moment.

Cheers,
