I wrote code to manage BIND many, many years ago. It's very easy to physically do *IF* you read through the BIND documents enough times that you've essentially memorized it. :-) It's a very rigid, very picky format. I'd strongly suggest not doing your alpha/beta code on anything important, because the mistakes could be cached out in the wild for several days.
