I'm trying to get an application to work on Linux using MySQL that already works on NT. The host tells me there is no way to set up the username and password directly in the ODBC DSN, that I need to put them in the cfquery tag. Is this true? I don't want to maintain 2 versions of the application and I know the username and password is more secure when set up directly in the DSN.
