Hi All - Background: I have a new lap top. Win 98 SE. I installed PWS, then ColdFusion Server 4.5.1.0. Then CF Studio 4.5. My mappings are C:INETPUB\WWWROOT\ and c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ and c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\trialFolder\.
I made a directory "trialFolder" in wwwroot and made a trial.htm and trial.cfm file in studio in the directory. Clicking on Browse, the trial.htmfile would display; the trial.cfm file would give the following error. "Exception occurred while resolving path (C\Inetpub\wwwroot\trialFolder\trial.cfm) for server (localhost) in routine (ResolveLocalPathToURL) (c\HS5\shared\DebugSettingsDialog.pas, line814)" I then installed the Studio upgrade and now have 4.5.2 Now both the trial.htm and the trial.cfm files give me the above error. Just for grins I tired again the next morning. I got the same error message. When I closed Studio, the following message came up on my desktop: "Exception EAccessViolation in module CFSTUDIO45.EXE at 000FA1FC. Access violaton at address 004FA1FC in module 'CFSTUDIO45.EXE'.
