Duhh!! After a lot of head scratching.
A lot of people had similar problems in the cf-talk archives so I thought I'd write in with what my problem was. My scheduled task was inside a secured directory which required a login session. I found my problem by publishing the scheduled template to a txt file and was confused when looking at a completly different txt file, I then realised it was the login template which had been wrote to file. A login session had been created but then I realised the httpRequest is never sent from the users browser DuuuuuFus or what. Anyway maybe someone out there was doing the same thing. Probably Not!!
