I've been using a month or so now on a test site, albeit under quite heavy load, I have't had a single error. And to say that it's faster than CFHTTP would be a mild understatement.
-----Original Message----- From: Greg Saunders [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 13 December 2001 13:49 To: CF-Talk Subject: tcpclient and cfhttp I've recently downloaded Lewis Sellers' TCPClient COM object http://www.intrafoundation.com/tcpclient.html and so far I have been very impressed with it (thanks Lewis!). I'm considering installing it on a production machine to perform some HTTP post operations (Win2K, CF 4.5.1 SP2). Does anyone have any experience using it in a production environment? I was burned by using CFHTTP back in 4.0, which caused the server to crash sporadically when I used it for post operations. Is CFHTTP doing any better in 4.5? What about 5? Thanks, Gregory M.
