Because moving the mail spool folder is much easier ;)
Mine runs on a separate disk together with the temp dir to make sure I
have always enough room on the system disk. Common security precaution.
Just make sure that you:
- create the spooldir
- apply reasonable permissions to the spooldir. I use:
authenticated users: Add
creator owner: Change
system: FC
administrators: FC
cf service account: Change
- change the registry setting
- restart the CF Application Service (and for good measure the CF
Scheduling Service as well, not sure whether it is actaually necessary)
- test cfmail
