I've been getting this error lately. Error Occurred While Processing Request Error Diagnostic Information An error occurred while attempting to establish a connection to the service.
The most likely cause of this problem is that the service is not currently running. You can use the 'Services' Control Panel to verify that the service is running and to restart it if necessary. Windows NT error number 2 occurred. I tried using the services panel to start coldfusion application, but I received an error (could not start service due to internal error). I reinstalled cf server pro (4.5.2 sp 2), and replaced it with enterprise (4.5.2 sp 2). It worked last night, but quit working this morning. Same error shows up. I haven't installed any new software, or made any registry changes. It seems the service gets messed up after a reboot. My box has the following: win 2000 pro sp2 cf server enterprise (4.5.2 sp 2). sql server 7 JRE 1.2 and the ususal software Any ideas? Thanks for any help.
